We were up super early which sucked... Got ready and finalised packing before getting a bus to the train station, we got our tickets and got on the train, it was pretty comfortable and within 2 hours we were at Union station in Toronto. Danny knew his way around pretty well so we took a walk to the hostel and after getting checked in dropped our bags in lockers and headed out for a brunch, we went to the Eaton Centre which is a huge shopping complex with a food court on the basement level, had so many options and we each got something different. After we ate we took a walk around the centre and checked out some shops, time went by quite quick and before we knew it we could check in at the hostel, we dumped our bags in our rooms and met back up in the bar where we had a couple of beers and a burger for dinner. After dinner we headed out to a bar which was hosting an alternative night, the played some amazing music, from ETID to Blink 182, everyone was buzzing, as the night went on I started flagging so told the boys I was going to walk home and I'd see them in the morning. About 10 minutes into my walk I heard a bang and turned around to see a cyclist had clipped a taxi and ate absolute s*** and was face down out cold on the road... I went over to see if he was ok and he came too, I kept him calm but his chin was gashed open and there was a lot of blood, he was surprisingly ok besides that and he used his shirt to stop the bleeding, I offered to call him a taxi but he wasn't far from home and said he'd patch himself up, the chap thanked me a lot for the help and I felt like I had done my good deed for the day! The guy got back on his bike and continued home and shortly after I was home myself, I crawled into bed and crashed out for the night.
