Whilst at breakfast I was approached by the fella who was meant to be giving us our bus ticket, instead he told me the bus wasn't running the day we booked it on ad had to re-book, good job tour company... After a phone call and a couple emails we're now on a bus a day later and have an extra night here for free! We then hopped in what could possibly be described as the worlds slowest tuk-tuk and went off to Angkor Watt, this huge temple which is still in really good condition (think its the 7th wonder of the world, may be wrong...) we spent a good few hours exploring all of it in the heat, that part was not so fun, even worse, when we wanted to go to the highest most sacred point we weren't allowed up as we were wearing wife beaters... I foolishly suggested that we ha out rain coats in our bags, so Jed insisted we don them and climb about 50 steps to check out this place, it was like wearing tin foil in a sauna, holy jebus it was hot! We then visited some other smaller temples which took up most of our day before heading back to the guest house, all the people we got chummy with were here so we bought a crate of beer and sat round chatting and exchanging stories and then watched the football later on where I got rather merry! After the football was over people started leaving and crashing out so we called it a night, ruddy good day though!
