Sooooo was woken up by one of the hostel workers as Gus was waiting for me in reception, my phone died in the night so my alarm didn't go off, brilliant start. I packed up my gear super quick and checked out and headed outside to get in the car, only to discover Gus is an absolute champ and has rented a mustang!! A sweet ass convertible at that too! I hoped straight in and we started making our way to Los Vegas! We got out the city after a while and then were in the Nevada desert, the roof was down and we were just cruising, we stopped off for a bite to eat and then when we had eaten and bought some water we continued out journey and got to Vegas around mid afternoon, I was staying at a hostel and Gus wanted a hotel so he dropped me off and then shot off to his place, jet lag had now set in and was in full swing (jet lag + hangover) I had a couple hour nap and then woke up feeling awful, so decided to do the smart thing and just have a quiet night in so I could enjoy the day a bit more tomorrow! I literally just played about on my phone a bit and then went back to sleep as I was pooped! My two roommates arrived back in at about 4am and woke me up, but did apologise for it and went to sleep pretty quickly so it was all good
