After a good 3 hours sleep and just before the 9 hour bus journey i thought it wastime to write a postcard.

Right now im down in Airlie beach which i have to say is very nice but quite small and therefor not too many jobs going. I had to leave Townsville as i (again) couldnt find a job but despite the lack of work i loved the town and especially the people. Had a great week there and have actually met loads os people from Townsville down here in Airlie.

Last night was great fun as i went out to the local Irish pub and watched the Scotland vs. Italy and Ireland vs. England game. Really wish i hadnt watched the Scottish match though as it was total rubbish, unfortunatly i wore my kilt out to the game so couldnt pass myself off as Italian later in the night. The Irish game however was fantastic and i dont think there could of been a better place to watch it. I bumped into a bunch of 9 Irish guys who i'd met back in Townsville and so watched the game with them. During the night i found a few Scottish folk as well and one of them was from Edinburgh who went to Fettes. Turns out he was in the hockey team and knows loads of guys i do back home! All in all a great night, other than going to bed at 5:30 and getting up at 8:30 to check out of the hostel.

All that remains now is a 9 hour bus to Bundaberg where i hope to find some work as a fruit picker, the only problem is the bus gets me in at 3:30am so dont reall know what im going to do but think i might just head to a bar until sunrise. Really hoping i find a job but just have to wait and see, and hope, and hope some more.
