Hi, We stayed in Santa Barbara for 2 nights. It was the best place in California. The town was spanish/mexican inspired, big bay with beaches and marina and mountains in the background. unfortunatley it was labourday weekend, so it was really busy. Hejsan, We had a great few days in SF. Saw a baseball game and did a lot of walking. It's a great city. On the wednesday morning we picked up the car and drove over Golden Gate Bridge ( just for the fun of it). We then continued our drive south. A quick stop in Santa Cruz and ended up in Monterey. Quite a nice town, dodgy motel...ha ha. We ve been up at 7am every day and done long walks by the coast. We spent a lot of time checking out the wild life!!! Sea lion...

First Day, in the first of 22 countries! Long flight here, after some sleep we now out and about in town. Walked a lot, saw Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, Cable cars and we walked a lot of hills!.
