I wake up to a paradise island. The guest house being situated in a prime location looking out to sea. I sit and have a mango pancake and appreciate the view. Craig did an early dive and saw the elusive threshers. By all accounts they are impressive to see.
Our room has the morning sun streaming into it, making the small fan useless. We upgrade for a pound to a room with a balcony. A huge difference with a nicer temperature and just a peaceful vibe, with the sea breaking onto the shore as a soundtrack. I do 2 dives, one at chocolate coral, where due to a large typhoon last year it is badly damaged. Not sure the state before hand. Craig had picked up his PADI open water when we went to Australia 17 years ago, so it was good to finally dive with him and teach him a few tricks. Did a night dive which is always fun but again due to reef damage it limited what we saw. Surfacing after the dive we are presented with a glorious night sky. I've not seen the likes in years. We wander along the beach front and find a restaurant with bean bags and relaxing music.
