Peter Ward's Travels
After the depressing day of visiting the Killing Fields and the (S-21) Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, I decided it was time to leave Phnom Penh and head south on the bus to Sihanouk Ville. Where I could relax a bit by the sea on the beaches down there.
I didn't really get up to much today, just sat on the bus for about 6 hours while we drove down to Sihanouk Ville and then once I had found a hostel and booked in, which was the Guesthouse GSK at a cost of $5 (US) per night for a double fan room with en-suite bathroom.
In the evening I headed out into the town to see what was around and grabbed some dinner and a couple of drinks before returning back to the hostel for an early night.
