We arrived from Las Vegas pleased to see that the good weather had followed us and that the accomodation was in walking distance from the Greyhound. Just note if you ever stay in the downtown area be warned your nights will be filled with fog horns and the sound of trains!!

Whilst we were there we decided to go to Seaworld to see the legendary 'Shamu'. Something i 'Jean' always wanted to see!!!

Also managed a little more than that by getting caught out by the sun as it can be really deceiving.

Another day trip was to the Wild Animal park just outside San Diego, here we managed to get a little more up close and personal with the animals and enjoy the true sights of the country, that had only recently recovered from the dry season forest fires. As you probably can see from our pics we had some fun monkeying around ourselves!!

They were the only two trips we managed to do but the rest of the time was mainly exploring the town and the surroundings.
