Pedro's Mission
After spending the night on the train getting drunk with Russian's again we arrived in Yeketerinburg at stupid o clock 0430. After having some typical Russian dinner for breakfast we walked to the place where Tsar Nicholas II and his family were murdered in 1917 and had a look at yet another CHURCH!! As the Russian's we were drinking with on the train had been here before they decided to give us a little tour of the city even though the only thing I really wanted to do was sleep by the river. After our tour we left the Russian's and went to a war museum, sat by the city pond for a while and then waited around in an English Pub until it was time to catch our train to Tomsk.
After spending 30 odd hours on the train we arrived in Tomsk. and booked ourselves into the TGU Hotel and decided it was time to be typical Russian blokes and give ourselves tasches. After about 10 minutes we decided we looked stupid and shaved them off. We then walked around the town, saw some wooden houses and went to a pub. The next day we got up late and went to Resurrection Hill where we looked over Tomsk from a wooden tower. We then wondered about and had an early night for a change. After wasting most of the next day we got our train to Irkutsk at about 10ish
During this 30 hour train I managed to stack it big time legging it for the train with 4 bottles of beer in my hands. Fortunatly I only cut my hands, get a big gash on my knee and break only one of the bottles of beer.
Once in Irkutsk we booked our train tickets for Ulaan Bataar and to Olkhon Island and had a walk along the Angara River before hitting the sack as we had to be up early to catch our bus to Olkhon Island in Lake Baikal.
