After a late night with some new friends we decided to walk all the way to Belem. Which is around two hours (walking) west of Lisbon centre. It was a lovely day (weather has been awesome constantly so far - sucks to be in the UK I bet!) and we enjoyed the walk. In Belem we visited a beautiful old monastery, the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, and ate these custard tart things that I cannot remember the name of. Anyway they are famous in Portugal because they are absolutely delicious and the recipe is a secret only known by monks. Cool right? We also went to an art exhibition in the museum of culture Belem. Which was free and pretty weird, but cool all the same.
