We got up and had breakfast, the hostel had a sandwich press which added another dimension to the traditional bread and cheese we have been eating. We then went on a great walking tour where we learned all about munich's history and saw all the main sights. While Munich is most known for their beer they also have quite a history surrounding world war 2, as it was the city where the Nazis originated. We watched the glockenspiel, and it was the biggest waste of my ever, possibly the biggest overrated tourist attraction. After our fantastic tour we headed to the English garden to walk around, and watched some surfers on the way. We then just laid in the park, enjoyed some sun and had a few drinks. We then walked back to he hostel and I stopped on the way to buy some new Berks, as I lost them somewhere on my travels. I'm Canada I paid over 100$ for my Berks, in Germany thy were roughly 60$ so I was happy about that. We then picked up falafels for dinner, as there are very few veggie options. We then played cards and drank with a group of guys from Denmark for he remainder of the night
Fun fact: The BMW and the Volkswagen originated in Munich/ Bavaria. The BMW stands for Bavarian motor works and Volkswagen means car of the people (and came about because hitler commissioned it)
