Looks like my first impressions are not much to go by...Sorry Hong Kong I got you wrong!!

After a good nights sleep I headed off to Hong Kong Island on the ferry, once over there I started to get a really good feel for the place. Yes it is a shoppers paradise and yes it is hot and sticky but there are some lovely places to chill out and the views from the top of the hill (after taking the vernicular) are stunning.

Had a good wander round the island, had some great food, visited Edinburgh and the beach area...I have really started to warm to the place.

Met up with some of the people from last night and after a few beers we headed off to an all night karaoke bar. We had a really good laugh and I didnt roll home till 8:30 am all sung out. I am really too old for this, but it dont feel like it at the moment! Haha

Eventhough Hong Kong has won me over I did decide to head off tomorrow to get a couple of extra days in Malaysia so that I can go SCUBA diving. So will be doing a little more sightseeing in the morning then it is off to Kuala Lumpur!!
