Arrived in Cambodia yesterday, had a nightmare journey and got majorly scammed at the visa office at the border. Usually visa costs 20 dollars but i got charged 50, well forty and then the guy ran off with the change cos i was stuck inside the immigration.Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then the journey here was a nightmare because it was POURING iwth rain, proper monsoon rain!Did not stop ALL NIGHT and the roads here are awful so my bum hurts so much right now, and not in a good way! Shared the taxi with a couple of Malaysian ladies who were really really nice called Susie and Beatrice, how english huh?!ONe was malay indian and the other malay chinese. Now staying at the same hotel as them cos last nite the hotel i satyed at (a different one to them) was next to a lake and there were sooo many mosquitos, oh my god soo many!! All is red mud here. Today is very sunny and hot, about 27 degrees and ive had a wander through the town and tomorrow i am going to visit Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. Should be fun. Then leaving here on saturday to go to Phnom Penh for a few more days before Vietnam.
