We arrived in L.A from Fiji on the 27th May 2008. There is about a 16 hour time difference between Fiji and Los Angeles, so to say the least our body clocks were all over the place. We decided to stay in Venice Beach, our hostel was right on the beach. Apparently they used to film Baywatch here!

The following day after catching up on some well deserved sleep we headed to Santa Monica and had a walk round the famous Santa Monica pier.

We booked a tour so we could see the rest of L.A properly. Our tour was really good and we got to see everything. We headed to Beverley Hills the home of the rich and famous and we were able to see the homes of Steven Spielberg, John Voight, Keanu Reeves, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise and also the house that the Beckhams are currently building and a load more!

We also got the opportunity to view the walk of fame, where there are over 2000 stars names on the footpath! The tour also included the Hollywood sign and sunset strip (where all the stars hang out apparently). The next stop was Rodeo Drive, this is full of exclusive boutiques, it's a pity we had no money left at this stage. We also got to see a lot more on the tour!

We have thoroughly enjoyed L.A, it's very nice but it's time to move on to our last stop on this trip. Next stop Las Vegas to try and win some money!!
