The Great Northern Adventure
Day 1. Departed Canberra at 8.00am in the thick fog, stopping briefly at Murrumbateman and then onto Murrumburrah for morning tea. The country side just beautiful and green as we travelled further north and the daytime temperature climbed to over 18 degrees. Detoured to my old childhood town of Narrandera, then through Leeton and onto busy Griffith for lunch. Stopped for the night in a classic old country pub circa 1929 in the pretty village of Hillston, dinner up the street in another old pub of chicken schnitzel.

Bill Mostyn "stopped the night in a classic old pub" ? What happened to the "swag beside the vehicle "with the stars above ? Soft. Stay safe and enjoy.
