Day 16
Whale watching all day aboard the Freedom III, a sleek catamaran. Humpback wales and their calves all around, spectacular jumping show, some playing right near the boat. Morning tea, lunch on board and the cheese fruit platter excellent. Sailed right along the inner shore of Fraser Island spectacular white sand cliffs and remote beaches with blue water. Turtles sighted on the way back to port. Dinner tonight sautéed local scallops in garlic butter with white wine and parmesan with a salad. A great day!
