And so after seven months working and traveling around Australia, we have now found our way to our first destination in Asia, Bali. The expected heat and humidity is not as bad as we thought it would be.

We're currently staying in Kuta, the tourist and shopping centre of Bali. Of course, when it comes to shopping you can't get away from your big lables, Topshop, Marks & Spencers, Boots to name a few. But i definitely prefer the locals with their little stalls of fake and much cheaper versions of the same items. And then there are the stores full of fake dvds and games which i could get lost in for hours.

The hotel is fantastic, we are really getting use to the jucazzi, pool and waterfall but all good things come to and end and we depart tomorrow for a more cultural experience (we hope). Tomorrow we go to Ubud in the search of the real Bali, here's hoping we find it.
