I've have now left work but going back to have a late leaving lunch with the Comm Ops team on Friday.
I've looked at lots of websites and guidebooks this week, in between sitting in the sun, but not made any firm bookings apart from 2 nights hotel accommodation when I arrive in Auckland. I want to keep things as flexible as possible.
2 things to resolve - transport and type of accommodation.

Darren - sorry but there is no room for you in my rucksack. Perhaps you can finance a Hobbit tour for me then I'll tell you all about it & show you my photos?
Perhaps Lawrence can do the same with heli-skiing?
