Slovenian sunday

We got off the train at ljubljana and followed the map i download, the hostel was dead easy to find and we passed a load of drunken locals pissing thereselves at some guy on the flour pissed. It was 2am saturday night when we checked in we walked into our dorm on the top floor and it stunk! It was the toilet, we shut the door to it and the room began to smell normal again. We made our beds and hit the sack.

I got woken up by copeys mum ringing, she was in cyprus and was looking at flights for copey. We lazed in bed after 12, braved the bathroom to brush our teeth and headed out to the centre. It was pissing it down, we walked into the centre and it was all closed, we had walked passed an english bar before and thought sod it, we cant find the cinemas so lets stay dry in a pub. We ordered two pints and two sandwiches, it came in at €6.80 for all. Bargain, we drank our pints of union and sang you dont get me im part of the union, slovienas our new home...

We walked back to the hostel and looked at the internet to find the cinema, turns out that there is a vodafone arena with bowling cinema and a casino so we hit their in a cab, it cost us €6 to get there. We got tickets for prince of persia and grabbed a macdonalds why we waited for it to start. The film was in english so was brilliant, the theatre was like a shop out of blade runner with neon signs everywhere and the seats where big bucket comfy seats. After the film we grabbed a few more unions and hit the bowling. Two games later and a severe beating from copey later we decided to go play pool. We went upstairs and played for an hour, i think copey won overall but id given up by that point anyway, after the humiliation at bowling. We grabbed a taxi back to the hotel, it was 11pm and we thought we could grab another beer. How wrong were we, we wandered around it was sunday afterall, but no places open. Copey grabbed a kebab then we went back to the hostel. The guy showed us the times we needed to catch the bus to the caves at postjena, we decided 11 am was good so here goes...
