The old diocletians palace and spewing in split!

We woke up and i decided i needed a proper clothes wash so bagged up my clothes and took them to the laundrette 75 kuna for a full wash, about £8.70 bargain i thought, copey didnt so he didnt bother. After i dropped my washing off we headed to the beech which the women who owned the hostel said was 7km of lovely beaches, copey had joked with the australian about it and she laughed. We didnt realise why she had laughed until we hit the beach. It wasnt 7km of lovely beaches. Just one nice sandy one where the water went for miles and the others were pebble beaches inbetween the odd little ports. We walked out for ages and copey was brave enough to swim in it, i didnt it was far too cold for me and plus i had to keep my laundry ticket dry.

After a while we walked back to the centre to look for information on canoeing or rafting, we found a shop but the guy had been out sea kayaking for the last 3 weeks but only had olive oil and wine tours, we declined and he gave us a few good places to visit online and we walked into the old city again. The old palace was an attraction and was about £3 to go in so we headed into the old ruins of the palace, there was pillars and reconstruction work everywhere, these people were around when the romans where but they didnt last long against them. It was quite cold in there and was ok for £3 plus

We got out of the baking sun for a while. On our way back to the hostel i picked up my nice smelling washing, it was good that they smelt clean and soft too. :) .

When we got back we had again 2 new room mates one was a french canadian and the other a girl from korea. Copey and i decided that since this place had a kitchen we should make the most of it and headed out to a massive shopping center called jokers. We had seen that it sold books too. I bought paul of dune book and copey was admiring the brian slide specials. We walked back to the hostel copey made pasta and i cooked my mixed grill i had bought. Copey went for a shower when i cleaned up and when i got back in the room the korean girl asked if i was copeys wife for cleaning up after him. I laughed and said no thats what living with a girl for 5 years does for you. I grabbed a shower and we hit split town we had already had a few wines before we went out, we came to a bar near the beach that was quite busy so we had 2 beers there. We thought we would check out the club further round the bay so headed there it was shut, it was monday after all. So we walked up the stairs where we were stopped and asked if we spoke english. Turns out there was 2 guys and girls looking for a place to drink so we all walked to a pub with music pumping out all, we drank a few more beers and i got a few cherry brandys in, big mistake it destroyed me, i ended up throwing up and copey had to carry me home, it was getting light on the way back and i told him id sleep on the beach but he wasnt having it.....
