Hello everyone. Thankyou so much for your messages. I promise to reply to emails asap but I am pushed for time at the mo. I had a lovely time in Pie de la Cuesta. It is a nice quiet little spot about 40 mins bus ride from Acapulco. we did spend a day in Acapulco which was great and of course I had to go and see the divers. very touristy but they were impressive. Acapulco itself is dirty and smelly but you can easily see how spectacular it must have been in it's time and why it was such a major world tourist spot. It is still a huge draw for the Mexicans for some reason, they were loving it.Glad I've seen it but not desperate to go again. the sea in Pie de la Cuesta is renowned for being very rough. Besides the Great Whites, there is a tremendous riptide so swimming is not recommended but the waves are great fun.Tthey do quite literally knock you off your feet. I was walking calmly along the shores edge, fully clothed and without warning suddenly found myself face down in the sand with waves crashing over me, much to the amusement of the whole beach!! I have never been in sea so warm before, it was remarkable, the med never reaches the same sort of temperatures.
I have photos which I will upload soon. As promised I should be able to put some pictures of school on there as well.
speak soon.

Hi Paula, wow I'm impressed with this site, what a good idea! Hope you're having a fab time, it certainly looks like a great place! I was initially v.impressed with Jeff's knowledge of Spanish, until I read that the computer was doing all the translating!! I may use that idea to talk to Jose's family in Portuguese, though I suppose I'll never learn that way!
Anyway, enjoy your time there and the whole experience.
LOL

XXX
PS if the Spanish lessons arent working, Ill send it in English!

Glad your having a good time, place looks fab. What is the temperature there? Scotland was a balmy 12 degrees this afternoon with a definite chill in the air. I'm just back from the desert where it was 55 degrees in Basrah so can sympathise if its hot with you. Watch out for the worms in the Tequila!

How about the spelling in my previous message. I suppose this rules me out of the English teaching post.
I enjoyed the photos, keep them coming. I didn't really have anything to tell you, I just thought i would at least make initial contact. Did you know Jill was pregnant ? (Due next March)

Hiya
What a great site! Your place looks nice. Back to those wooden floors though!! How's the Spanish lessons going. Jeff said he is gonna type a whole e-mail to you in spanish. He'll porobably type in english and ask the computer to convert it!! Is it easier for you if we use this site to contact you or do you want us to continue to use your normal e-mail. Also whilst on here - Hiya Mic, how are you doing? Hope you are ok and not to sober!! I know just how much you will miss Paula and your girlie nights. Give me a call if you need help keeping your alcohol levels up!! Anyhow Paula, glad things are going great and hope it's not too windy with that Ivan around, has it affected you at all?
Miss you loads. Take care.
Niki
