Thought I'd get in on the action too! What an adventure! It looks wonderful where you are too. I'm full of admiration for the move you have made. I'll keep popping on to see how you are getting on. Mostly to double check Norman's spelling but also to catch up with whats happening in the warmer parts of the world! I went to Chichen Itza about 5 or 6 years ago and that was stunning. I'm not sure if you are close or not but recommended. Looking forward to becoming a daddy in March....its so exciting! Its also very nice to have such a wonderful extended family as the Falder clan!
All the best.

Hello everyone,
Phew! what a nightmare trying to put more photos onto this site. They have improved the service. Ha Ha!! Still there are some new pictures on there although the albums are now totally disorganised and all over the place. There are also lots of repoeats or similar photos but because it was taking so long I just threw on everything that I had on the CD. Sorry. Maybe I can sort them out later if that is possible. Dave is going to go into the update page for me and see what he can do. Thanks D you're a treasure!!
Everything is fine here and I am looking forward to a teacher day tomorrow which means that everyone has decided that as it corresponds with pay day it is just too good an opportunity to miss a night out tonight. Some of us are off to salsa ans some will simply try to drink as much beer as is humanly possible. Personally I will be at a cuban bar where a popular drink is the mojito. This is white rum, lemon juice, sugar and lots of fresh mint. i can recommend it!!! No hangover either!!! Must be something to do with the altitude and all those extra white blood cells. (or are they red, can't remember - whoops) I am then looking forward to a weekend away in a place about 2 hours south of here called Cuernavaca. It is an old colonial town where lots of wealthy city dwellers have country homes. it is also known as the place of the eternal spring apparently so that should be most pleasant.
The photos are mostly of Acapulco and the place where we stayed called Pie de la Cuesta which was about 40 mins bus ride out of the town.It is easy to see why Acapulco became such a major tourist attraction but it is not really up to much these days. have I already told you this? Sorry! Anyway I had a really good time and you can see the pictures for yourselves now. There are quite a few of the beach because the waves were amazing but I don't think the pictures show that. There are also a few taken just before a big tropical storm and I thought the sky looked great. it was raining really hard but it was such beautiful warm rain and the sea was gorgeous. There are also lots of King's Hill Monkey. We did get a bit carried away and there are not many which show much of Mexico but they're there anyway. I have also put on some of the school and my class. There is an album of pictures from the pyramids just north of the city. They are really quite impressive, infact there is a whole city there, more of which they are still discovering.
Gina. Hope you had a really good time. I did send you a card though it would have been late. Sorry. Congratulations anyway. There are some pictures for you to look at in an album called 'the head'. you might also spot an extra strange looking child in my class.
Thank you everyone for messages and emails, especially the children at King's Hill. Lots of love to you all. I miss everybody and it great to hear what you are all doing.

Hi Paula, I have been meaning to post a message for a few days now, I keep logging on and reading everyone else's but then having to log off before I've had time to write one myself. This website is great, such a good idea, I've enjoyed looking at all of the photo's, what an interesting place to be able to spend all that time in, and your flat looks lovely. Did a group of you go out there together, or did you know anyone else out there before you left ? How's the socialising side of things going ?
I saw your note to Emma, the pregnancy is going well thanks, the baby isn't due until March so there's still a fair way to go, but fingers crossed, so far I've had a pretty easy time of it, and everything is as it should be. Take care, lots of love, Jill xxx

Hi Paula. Don't worry I only use free downloads! Just been giving Dad a tour of the computer and web. Good job you've got a digital camera - the developing costs would bankrupt you! Love from all. XXX
Dad And Jo
Hello Paula
Very impressed with your web site. Lovely to see your photos, now we can visualise you in your flat. Speak to you soon. Love Dad & Jo.
Paula
Jeff,
I got the general idea of your message but some staff who have been here for 5 years couldn't make out some of it and bits of it greatly amused the Mexicans. it seems the translation is not very good. Hope you didn't pay too much for the program. Thanks anyway.
Mum,
Can you check out how much it will cost to post the Lonely Planet guide to me. There are lots of copies knocking around but it would still be udseful to have a copy of my own. I can send youa check for the cost or have money transferred. Ta x

Message for year 3/4
Thankyou all for your message. It was really lovely to hear from you. I hope you are all well and enjoying yourselves now you are big Key Stage 2 children.
I would love to hear all about what you are doing.
Kieran - I have lots of new friends. Everyone is very kind and helpful. There are lots of English people here as well and most of the Mexican people have some English so it's not too difficult to talk to people. I am having Spanish lessons but I have got a lot to learn.
Chantelle - It is very nice here. The people are very friendly, the school is nice and I live up a big hill so I can see beautiful views across the City here and the mountains.
Charlie - Yes thank you I am enjoying myself but of course I am missing everyone at King's Hill. Are you behaving yourself?
Mrs Hough - The Mexican men are masters in chat ups even though they are pretty tacky and seriously over the top. I could be led to believe that I am ther most beautiful person in the whole world and that my Spanish is excellent. As one of the girls said, when we come back to the UK we will end up thinking we are very ugly. The answer is, if you're fair skinned you have to fight them off with a big stick. it beciomes very tiresome. Mind you it does have some uses. I got on the bus yesterday for free because I am so gorgeous that I brought sunshine to to the bus. YUK!!
Kishen - The weather here is much warmer than in England but where I am is very high up so it is not as hot as most of Mexico. it is still the rainy season just now so there are often very heavy storms but they don't last very long. There has been a lot more rain lately because of the hurricanes in the gulf of Mexico and also some smallert ones out in the Pacific. Perhaps Mrs Roderick will show you those places on the globe if you ask her nicely. I went on a little hgoliday to the seaside last week and it was very hot there because it is not in the mountains. hope you're having nice warm weather in Darlaston.
Shonika - The children are really lovely but some of them can be a bit naughty.
Billy - Hola chico, ¿ Como Estas? ( note use of question marks) Let me know what words you want to know. These are the numbers 1 to 10 you could learn. uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, neuve, dies.
Take care and have lots of fun.
