Hi mom, everythinks ok work still been ass holes but managing to keep a bite of my tonge. So not got into trouble yet. Dont know whats happening yet. Keeping out of trouble as always. Car is a mess needs a new engine after the meachanic messed it up and i paid him. so instead of getting him to look at it again ive took it to ford. will be getting money back off him! dont ask, hope everythink is ok flat dosent look that bad didnt look at any others didnt look very exciting. dont know when i will be writing again. try and make it soon

thanks for the message. Had a great birthday tea with Matthew. He is happily playing in the bath with his new motorised boat - a pressie from Jack. We had thunder and lighting tonight instead of the fireworks!! Mother fit and well. The tree fern is still alive - will have to think about putting it under cover soon I think. Hello Dad and Jo, Jeff and Niki. I know you were planning to log on tonight. I have managed to add the Cuernavaca photos as promised. I have also added a couple of the garden where I live and another couple to the views album.

Happy Birthday Matthew. I hope his birthday card arrived. It should have done.

Cuernavaca was a really lovely place. I'm sure I will go there again because it is just the other side of the mountains. On one of the photos you see the other side of the mountains from Mexico City so you get an idea of how close it is. the journey through the mountains is quite spectacular in places.
the pyramid is only small but interesting. They were in the middle of building it when the Spanish invaded and tore down much of it. This one is different to the others in mexico apparently because of the inner pyramid.

Anyway. The weather here is absoloutely fab. The rains have stopped completely now and it has been really lovely. Clear skies and glorious sunshine.
Off to Patzcauro at the end of next week for the day of the Dead. This is the place to be apparently and we have managed to get a room. The lonely planet describes it as OK, but look before you buy. Too late. there was nothing else available. oh well. I have bug spray.

hi paula hows fings, the job fronts not gd no 1 wants me, i'm not experienced but there u go, neva mind though i bin granted doll doser money 4 6months 2 keep me goin till i do find summat, only 33.50 but better than nowt any way. On the brighter side though i found out i can apply 4 the fire service in january so i tryin 2 get a xmas job 2 keep me goin in the mean time. I also got me 18th party bukd now as well :) shame u can't cum though, but neva mind least u got the sun wile i celebrate in the snow. Love Jack xxxxxx

Great to hear from you again and thanks for the link to your site. You sound like you've really found your feet quickly out there! I'm getting really envious now that the temperature is beginning to fall with the autumn leaves. Have you actually done any work yet?
Lots of work on the go over here with 2 or 3 schools in regular direct contact - means the agency aren't getting much of a look in at the moment. Have to be firm in order to have one weekday off!
Tom (youngest son) 21 on Saturday - I really must be getting older!

Hi everyone.
We had a really lovely time in Cuernavaca. The weather was glorious. we managed to get quite a lot of sightseeing in but still had a restful time. We saw the pyramid at somewhere or other. Can't say it let alone spell it. we also did the museum in the palacio de cortes and the Robert Brady museum was excellent. The cathedral was lovely too and we walked and walked and walked to see a waterfall which according to the Lonely Plane you can walk behind. Not any more!! still was quite impressive but was spoiled by so much rubbish that had accumulated at the bottom. the Mexican's do not take care of all these beautiful places. I guess in a country with so many social problems it doesn't come very far up the list of priorities. Anyway it was still nice to see.
I will of course put photos on soon.
Jeff - some photos by email or CD and some hard copies would be excellent. M's birthday card should be on it's way to you soon. there is only one post office anywhere near and that is a good bus ride away. There are no post boxes in Mexico!!
I have being trying to get hold of Dave for a few days now to see how his birthday was but there is a 15 hour time difference so I can only really call very early i the morning or at weekends and I'm not in very often then.
Dad - Thanks for the stuff you sent. It came today.

Nice to hear from you. Completely jealous of course! Up to my ears in work and that's me taking every short cut imaginable. The gaffa still hasn't done the report to my knowledge and I haven't been in touch with any of the Canada crew yet. I am changing ISP's at home so will email you when my new ISP is up and running. Got to dash as I have yet another meeting (student teacher mentor training) to go to. You soak up the sun and have pity on us as winter approaches. Take care.
