paul and tassy's adventure
g'day
were now in 'town of 1770' its such a perfect place and not over run by tourists, its where captain cook first found oz, (in 1770) and its where the GBR ends and the surf starts, brill fishing(we aint caught anythin yet tho), brill surf, hot and quite! its next to angus water. it took us 8 1/2 hours to get here from airlie.
airlie was great fun as well, we got to swim and snorkle the great barrier reef, see all the fish!also seen a very big fish called george and an other called wolly, they hang around the boat(as it doesnt move)! we got a massive cruise boat to the GBR, took 2 hours from dock, and yes i was ill!!!(not nice) when we got there they had an other big boat which stays there, we got on the other one and went straight in the water, i was a little scared because of the sharks, but paul loved it! they also had a submarine that went around so we went on that, also a viewing area(under the sea), it was such an experience, so pretty! we saw whales on our way back as well! Yday when we were making dinner, i was sitting in the passenger seat and paul was cooking at the side, he suddenly said to me 'tas, get out of the car using the drivers door', so i slowly did that, and he showed me why, there was a massive spider on the top of the door, i didnt believe him till he took a photo and showed me!i started screaming while paul got the fishing rod and tried to get it off, the germans next to us were laughing at us untill they seen the monster, it was the size of my hand!!! it was quite funny to think of it now because me and paul were screaming like little girls!!!!we were too scared to get back in the van!!!(its all on video by the way, we'll show you when we're back!) found out today that it was only a huntsman, but it was still scary!think were leaving 1770 today to head for fraser island. so we'll update then, comp wont let us put photos on at the mo, so ill try again soon, got lods to show!
