paul and tassy's adventure
so we've come to the end of our travels.... what an amazing experience- we've seen and done so much in the last 10 weeks, from elephant trekking to the top of the twin towers! Thailand is an adventure where ever you are theres always something to suprise you! Malaysia is so poor but everyone seems happy and KL is so advanced and beautiful. Singapore is one of the places that impressed me the most- with its high tech services and perfect buildings, it has everything- and its all done right!!!! Australia is the one country i've always wanted to visit, with its balance of laid back surfy life, amazing beaches, shopping and culture with the abo's, not to mention the animals- they can all kill you if they wanted!(but they wont). i'm coming back to visit, as soon a i can- i'd even consider living here for a while....
Now that i've had a taste for traveling i know i want to do some more, i'd love to visit west oz, south africa, NZ, india, and south america...so i'm going to start saving again and travel them when i can!!!!!
people say that you always gain something from traveling...and it's true, i've seen some of the most amazing things, but i've also realised how nice a place i live in, also being in thailand made me realise how much people have and take for granted-even the smallest thing like water (which no one drinks enough of) is precious to them, even in austalia where their having a massive drought. we've met some really nice people, backpackers and locals!!!we'll always remember frank though- WHAT A VAN!!!!hehe.
where going to miss the robertsons, what a lovely family and a beautiful place they lived in....we'd love to come back and visit them some day!
Theres two things im not going to miss.. the long plane journeys and the mozzy's!
just wanted to say thanks to family and friends who typed messages on our message board....it ment so much (i know that sounded cheesy, but its true)!
so we'll see you in a few days......bye xxxxx
love tassy xxx
what do you think of my photo? i didnt think i'd get so good at surfing so quickly! Well we've finished in oz, mentally preparing to take on this 23 hour flight! we've enjoyed ourselves so much and had some awesome experiences, never thought i'd ever call a 20 year old van home but all this travelling does strange things to you! looking forward to seeing everyone again and catching up over a few beers- we've hardly drank a drop since getting out here! see you all in just a few hours then. Paul
