Such a shame that we arrived in this town at 10am because the only connecting bus to Ushuaia was at 9am! There is nothing to do in Rio Gallagos on the best of days but when its raining and the blustery wind makes the rain sting you face, the temprature feels somewhere around -10 degrees (kelvin) and to top it all its a Sunday, then watching paint dry seems like fun! We did have chance to cook a nice meal of all different kinds of roasted vegetables and pasta washed down with a nice bottle of Argentinian wine though so all is not bad! We just hoped that there were no complications with our bus connection to Tierra del Fuego the next morning.
