We arrived in Cordoba with all hopes of skydiving. we booked into a cheap hostel and awaited news from the skydive company for predicted weather the next day. Whilst waiting we headed out to an internet cafe to catch up with our friends and relatives.

Sadly whilst we were writing an email our palm computer which have had for less than a month was stolen from the desk right in front of us by a guy who covered it up with a magazine, drew our attention elsewhere and simply walked out the shop clutching the magazine with our palmtop wrapped up in it. I realised what had happened literally seconds after the theft but he was already long gone into the crowds outside. The police were called and we managed to see the guy on the internet cafes CCTV footage but the police didn't really do much about it. We filed in a report at the police station for our insurance and returned back to the hostel to find out that there will be no skydiving as the weather is not good enough!

On the upsde though it was Kierans birthday so a celebratory meal and birthday cake with champagne was consumed along with a couple of beers and we soon forgot our troubles.

Oh well.. At least it wasn´t done at knife point!

On now to Mendoza and crossing into Santiago before we leave to Easter Island on the 20th.

Finally as our palmtop had all our blog entries on it that we were going to upload we will now need to re-write these at some point so you will have to wait for our continued stories from past excursions.
