Hello - we're back!

There has been a massive delay in us putting another blog up because we have been so incredibly busy since we landed in Santiago 2 and a half weeks ago.

We have started our TEFL course now, which is pretty intense but good and we have 2 weeks left before starting a week of Spanish lessons. We have met some great people since we've been here and we are really loving Chile. It is so hot here - most days around 30 degrees but last week it got up to 37 one day! The views around the city are amazing, and we have amazing views of the Andes from our room!

We've done quite a bit of exploring around the city (although without the camera - so more photos to come soon), been to some cool bars and great restaurants.

The next two weeks are going to be very busy but after that and the Spanish lessons we are going to travel for a month and then come back to Santiago in time for the start of the new teaching year, when we will hopefully get jobs!

Unfortunately our Spanish is very basic at the moment as we haven't got any time to practice, but somehow we seem to get by... just. We have laughed so much at some of the things we have tried to translate - it's hilarious!

We will update the blog again soon once we have more time but at least you all know we're alive now!!
