Being part of this fledgling Enki/Waldorf school even for a moment gave me a glimpse into how our school began. The children fitted right into morning circle, weeding the gardens and fencing with large sticks during recess. We had yummy lunch curtesy of ingredients from the local dumpster diver, and planted enchanting 'ying yang' beans in the afternoon. Smoothies made from fresh milk, a game of seafarers settlers of catan and a pot luck community meal ended the day; except for milking the cow for night time milk drinks. This is a piece of paradise where hard work and wonderful people abound, and crazy beautiful dreams are actualized.
