Shaun Hey Paul, Good to see the two of you got back in one piece. Glad you enjoyed the whole experience. Just took a look at some of your photos - that big scary thing on Great Keppel Island is a goanna. They are harmless unless they get scared and then they climb up the nearest thing to them. It's best if you aren't near them or they will scratch the living daylights out of you, but that is about it. Did you see any Drop Bears while you were in Queensland? They are like a bigger, meaner, koala bear. Very dangerous. Oh - and they like Bundy Rum. Perth looks awesome. I've never been there - which is pathetic when it is in my own country. One day. Anyway, say hi to Amy for me. Hopefully one day in the future we will catch up again. Maybe we can have a bet on Australia v Scotland in the World Cup. Oh, that's right. Scotland didn't make it. Ronnie Hi Paul Just spent some time catching up on your photos and postcards. Wow! What a trip. I got very nostalgic about New Zealand and you saw even more than I did as I didn't go right up north or right down south. I'm glad that somewhere on the other side of the world there's a dodgy photo of me on a wall and glad you found it! Plus Great Keppel Island ....very fond memories. Shame you are on your way home soon (for you) but your family and friends will be pleased to see you I'm sure. Take care and make the most of the time you have left. I was round at party on saturday for the grand final football and met a whole load of people from Paisley - very bizare when you are 12000 miles away. My brother's just back from his 5 month Asia/Australia/Afica trip so I need another Off Exploring website with which wind myself up every rainy, Monday lunchtime as I sit in my office in Bellshill!! So you're in Melbourne just now - how are things there? Have you been to Sydney to enjoy a Tooeys with Veneet yet? Your heli-hike looked amazing - all those sparkly, bluey-white ice caves looked fantastic. I think all this travelling to exotic destinations must've trickled into the bit of my brain that likes seeing palm trees but doesn't really do sums/money very well, as I took a wee flakey and booked a trek in Sri Lanka for Alan and me in October. We do walking, cycling and canoeing and a wee bit of camping in a rubber plantation, so it should be good. Hope things are good with you! MC x

Jay Heya Paul, Still missing you loads! Looks like your having a blast down under! Festival time here Billy and Mark are doing like a squillion shows and Ive even managed to get some to which is very cool! Don Quixote had its first outing in the big bad capital city last Thursday which went really well! I was compere and was very scared and freaking out right up until I got on stage! The whole comedy thing has just exploded right now Billy has arranged a mini comedy festival in Irvine next week which should be fantastic! Still keeping your spot warm for when you get back!
