Tuesday 7th July Arrived on Sunday afternoon from LA - we drove 5 1/2 hours with Peter to Phoenix Arizona. It was a lovely trip down to Phoenix, reminded me of travelling from carnarvon to karratha. Arrived in Washington DC on 30th june at 3pm in the afternoon after a 9 hour flight from Switzerland. We were fortunate to get a spare seat next to us which made the trip very comfortable. Well arrived on Fridaz into Bern in Switzerland to visit Collette who used to live in Perth. We had a fantastic train trip out to her place, and arrived at 4.30pm. We had a delay leaving Paris because there was a complete blackout in the airport and no planes could leave and we got stuck at Security. It was a delay of about 1 hour.
