Sunday was wet and we spent the day doing the open tour , it was a little challenging in the rain. Yesterday we continued the tour in glorious sunshine , which meant for a much better view of things. We walked around luxembourg gardens at lunchtime and then back to Notre Dame to visit the book shop - Shakespeare and company. Mark purchased a copy of 'the red balloon' from when he was a kid. The boys purchased themselves a soccer ball and at the first opportunity they stopped to have a kick. They didn't understand why all the grass was fenced off in Luxembourg gardens ! They felt it was crazy not to play on the grass !
We finished off the day with a Bato-bus along the Seine. It has been amazing how much walking the boys have been doing without a complaint at all.
This morning was when we had planned to visit Eiffel tower sadly as you can see it was raining heavily and the top of the tour was not able to be seen from the ground. We arrived at the top to zero visibility !!! We were literally in the clouds, we all enjoyed the experience none the less and luckily got to see the view from level one a little.
