What were we thinking flying straight through !!! Having come out the other side it has been a good decision in the end. The first flight was highlighted by poor Elliott not feeling well resulting in a mad dash to the bathroom being aided by hostesses with bags along the way and Elliott thanking them all !
We then had an hour to get to our flight to Paris, which was fine.
We hit the ground running this morning after a delicious le petit dejeuner of coffee, baguettes and jam. We then walked and walked and walked to the louvre , and along the river until we all hit the wall and came back to the apartment for a long awaited rest but not too long do we can all sleep tonight. Comment of the day by Elliott, has to made it all worthwhile, when we were standing at the pyramid and palace at the louvre and he stopped to say that he would be happy to sit there for the rest of his life looking at these buildings !!! Does not get better then that !!!
Other magic moment was walking in to Monteparte to find an orchestra rehearsing it was just magic.
