Contiki bus dropped us into the main Barcelona city this morning then Lara gave us a short walking tour which was god for us to all get our bearings. After a Starbucks coffee , Jen and I started walking around going to a few shops and checking out the main strip which had lots of buskers peforming all sorts of activities.

Lunch was the local specialties of Tapas and Paella and sangria for drinks. Today was the first real sun we had all seen which was so lovely. We headed to the local beach after lunch and tried to relax and sunbake but they have sooooo many annoying people there trying to sell stuff and get us drinks. We got really annoyed towards the end and were just snapping at them to go away. We had to be back at the hotel by 4:30ish as we had a big night out ahead and needed to get ready. We ended up falling asleep on the beach then woke up and had to rush around to find a cab.

We got back to the hotel in good time but again Jen and I were the last ones on the bus. Ben and Sam had to come up and get us from our room as the bus was about the leave. Tonight was a traditional Flamenco show over beautiful Spanish food with lots of sangria. Then the clubs. Tonight was a big night because it was the 2 year anniversary since Akira (Lovely Canadian girl) survived her Brain surgery so we dubbed it the 'Brainaversary'. Lara got us free drinks and entry into a few clubs since the locals don't go out until midnight and stay until until 6am the next morning so we got in free for being earlybirds. It was a late night with

us getting home at 3am then like 6 people decided to come into mine and Jen's room and didn't leave until close to 5am which gave us one hours sleep.
