Have found some notes I made I thought had lost so here is the rest of our experiences in Thailand...hooray!! Arrive in Koh Samui yesterday at around 11am after sitting on a bus & ferry for around 16 hours! Probably one of the longest trips of my life! We left Bangkok on a coach & stopped at some dodgy Thai restaurant at Midnight where you had to pay 5 bahts to use the toilet! It was one of those hole in the ground type loos with a bucket of water & plastic saucepan to flush away what you had done! Got to Surathani at 6am & had to wait an hour & half for diff...
