Next stop was Whangarei were we went to see the falls, a kiwi bird and some ancient maori artefacts. Well, we actually wanted to go on a guided night walk to spot kiwi birds & glow worms, but it was cancelled due to rain forecast. Left Auckland on 28th. Got a taxi over to Apollo Campervan hire which gave us the cheapest quote. We have hired a campervan for a fortnight for $39 a day!! Its cheap cause its off peak still. Have arrived in New Zealand! We arrived yesterday about 2pm local time. Got through passport control just fine!
