hey happy St Andrews day everyone! was gonna get some haggis for tea but there is only one butcher in whole of Sydney that sells it n by time i get there place will be shut. boo!

Anyways went to My Movember Gala Partee last night! was such a great night! For those of you who dont know Movember is some charity to raise money for mens health. N all the guys were supposed to grow a mo. so loadsa folk in work have been growing them. then the organisers held a gala party at Luna Park for the finale. Luna Park is a cool lil theme park on the harbour. its meant to be like Coney island in NY. So it was a theme night. You had to go dressed in 80's gear or in the style of your mo. so me being a lover of fancy dress just had to go to this. Decided to go as Flashdance. Didnt quite have the balls to wear a leotard so opted for shorts, baggy tshirt, sweat bands, head band n my fav pink legwarmers. also stuck my hair in a side ponytail. loadsa folk from work bailed out n it ended up just being me, Mel n Kyle and a few of Mels mates. was awesome!

went to Mels after work to get ready n have some bubbly! Then met her mates at the ferry wharf. what a laugh! there were folk dressed as tennis players, pimps, hulk hogan, n random bizzarre costumes. even a group of bumble bees, have no idea why they were dressed that way. everyone went to some amount of effort. glad to know im not the only sad case who likes dressing up. saw these 2 guys with kilts on n i was telling them to lift up the back of their kilts n they were giving me funny looks, ten i asked where they were from n they were australian. shocker!

the park is mad, you enter thru this freaky giant clowns mouth. n inside it has loadsa cool rides like a rickety old rollercoaster, dodgems, big wheel. we got free shots on all the rides and stuff. went into the coney island thingy which was like the thing at end of grease with the funny mirrors n slidey floors n huge big slides. didnt get to go on dodgems as they closed all the rides at 10pm boo! then we tried to get back into the party building n it was full, they wouldnt let anyone else in. so we decided to head into the city n go to a club. went to a few places n they wouldnt let us in as Kyle was dressed like the construction worker from YMCA. n he didnt fit the dress code n i did wearing trainers n legwarmers. so we ended up in kings cross in this place called the q bar. n i think the Q stands for queer. it was the strangest place i have ever been in, in my life. they had cabaret in between music. a drag queen who sang n danced along to that 'i touch myself' song n he had his hand down his pants grabbing at his balls, then some totally naked chick came out n started dancing. n the most bizarre had to be this sorta comedian guy, who stripped naked n started shaving his arms on the stage. it was crazy but all good fun. they even played the proclaimers n i started dancing like a looney. i had to cut my night short as after drinking champers imoved onto to midori, lemon n lime, n i think they bout angosturi in my drink. just felt like spewing! got home around 2. am feeling mega s***ty today, just off to bed as soon as i get in.

my camera died early on in the night, thats why i got hardly any pics, but Elise has loads so ill get a copy n put them on for yous to giggle at. Anyways speak to you all later. take care
