So this weekend we're in Yorkshire for a family celebration and I couldn't help but think 4 weeks today, Ruth & I will be checking in to Holiday Inn Rosslyn at the start of our adventure! It is exciting but it is also tinged with a bit of frustration. Why is so difficult to organise parking in Nashville? Why do the companies not respond to your enquiries?

Only 5 weeks to go!!! This morning we ordered our prescription sunglasses - purple frames, obviously. The guy at the opticians thinks we need to take spare pairs of glasses as a legal requirement... anyone know? The excitement is growing!

The big countdown just got serious! Only 50 days... Car bin & bin bags added to the packing pile to make sure we avoid littering whilst enjoying the American countryside.
