After a fantastic night sleep in a Hampton Inn, we had a nice continental breakfast and headed to the SLC airport. We were all sad to see big Jimmy leave, but happy that he's going home to keep all of our pets company.

After dropping him off, we checked in to the Salt Lake City KOA. We got everything all set up and looking good for Grandma's arrival...we wanted to make sure she likes it right from the beginning. Right after we finished set up, the phone rings, and Mom wanted to know if she should take the "bump" from USAirways in Phoenix. She was offered a $275 flight voucher, dinner, breakfast, and a night at a Marriott in downtown Phoenix. All this on a frequent flier ticket! I told her to take it! She did, and that now meant we had the afternoon/evening free to do whatever in Salt Lake City.

The kids played cards while I did some laundry, then they went for a swim. We cleaned up and went out to see The Karate Kid. We all loved it! Headed back to the trailer and tucked in for a very cold night's sleep.
