So we got ourselves a van! The Hasselhoffer!! and the same day we left Auckland and headed north to the BAy of Isalnds.

This place is cool, it's a huge tourist attraction because there's so much water activities to do, from swimming with dolphins to surfing. We stayed here a week with a trip to the far north, where we tried sandboarding, reached the northern most point of NZ and saw the entrance to the maui underworld.

Everyone in the bay is friendly so we decided to look for jobs and stay for the summer, but after a week of searching we realised all the jobs were gone. Even though we loved the place we had to skip town and get ourselves a job.
