A fantastic five days in London to catch up with Sue and Dave before they head to Germany to tour the great vehicle museums then board their cruise. Weather was glorious and the place was crowded as this was the August bank holiday. Our lovely apartment failed to eventuate; if anyone ever meets up with Daniel from London Choice Apartments can they please thank him on my behalf. No-one has ever been so disgraceful with their treatment of visitors then this man. Still, if thats the worse of it............... But how can I forget: Green lines charging 50 quid from Luton to Brent Cross and then not sending a replacement bus for three hours after the one we were on broke down. I might ring them and ask if Daniel works for them! Still, it makes you remember the adventure and lets face it: thats why we travel.
