Ozygurus: Family of Four
Hola (Spanish), Dag (Dutch) or Good Morning to our friends. Thank you for reading our fifth Kids' Blog entry. There are some new pictures and videos that we hope you can view. We will be back at school for the start of the fourth term and can't wait to see everyone in Australia again. Our family has driven our motorhome - Tito the Kettle Van - through France, part of Spain, England and Scotland, Belgium and we are now in the Netherlands. We will soon return to Germany to sell Tito. We are calling this holiday the playground tour of Europe. We have visited many more chateaus (French castles) and medieval villages. We have also been to lots of museums and festivals and to a zoo in France. We have played giant Noughts and Crosses; got lost in mazes; explored Viking ships and the Dutch sailing ship: the Batavia, and hopped on the Concorde supersonic aeroplane. We went to the Eiffel Tower and the Arc-de-Triomphe in Paris - you may have seen these on Madeline shows - and we rode on the Carousel on River Seine. We caught a ferry from Calais in France to Dover (where the giant white chalk cliffs are) in England. We have made and flown model planes; painted and drawn pictures; rode our bikes everywhere; been on row boats and canal boats; and eaten lots of different foods. Our favourite cars have been French Citroens. We stayed in a town called Guerin in France, just like our surname and camped at a castle. The playgrounds have had all sorts of swings and climbing frames; seesaws and jumping castles. We play soccer and boules and have our own kite to fly. We watched the big bike race in France: Le Tour de France and searched for the fabled Loch Ness Monster in the Scottish lakes where we saw adorable Highland Cows. We visited a miniature village where we walked around like giants and dressed up like Dutch people in the olden days. Love from Macayle and Dylan Guerin; Dag! Adios!

lilyandzoe Macayle and Dylan, Hi Macayle and Dylan, Your trip sounds so fantastic, we wish we could be there too, especially riding the carousel under the Eiffel Tower and the little miniature village in Holland, and riding bikes everywhere, so much fun and what about Tito the kettle van that would be the best, and it's even got a children's T.V room, WOW. And you even found a place called the same as your name. We like Citroens too they're just so cool. Can't wait to see you both, Lily and Zoe. xxxooo.
