Day 9 Checked out the Outback Centre in Port Augusta before doing the short drive (2hrs) to Wilpena in the Flinders Ranges where we set up camp. Day 8 Adelaide nice city, it's true it is the city of churches. Nice relaxed feel about the city with lots of parks and open spaces although not as cosmopolitan as Sydney or Melbourne. Day 7 Took a boat trip from the town of Goolwa down to the mouth of the Murray river and into Corong National Park. Interesting trip, especially given the recent floods and birdlife beginning to return to the river and it's tidal estuary. Day 6 Uneventful day, drove further round the coast to the Fleuriea peninsula, south east of Adelaide. Weather horrible, quite heavy rain all day long. Day 5 First stop of the day, the Twelve Apostles lookout over rock formations jutting out into the Great Southern Ocean.
