Cable cars & ChinaTown Today we travelled on the iconic cable cars - just like being in the 'Streets of San Francisco' for those of you old enough to remember the TV series. Great fun & took us into the heart of the city for some culture & SHOPPING !!! Ended up in China Town.

Start of our gap- year!!! Oldies on tour. Arrived in San Francisco Sun 8th Jan 2012. Flight by BA not great, much better long distance flights with other airlines. Staying at the Tuscan Inn right on Fisherman's Wharf so in the middle of everything. Lovely warm & sunny weather & a great start to our visit. Of to Alcatraz & city visit today.
