Hollywood here we come. This is certainly la-la land! Some very strange sights, very expensive cars & houses. Beverley Hills much nicer than Hollywood. A fitting end to a fun few days. Australia here we come.

Final leg has brought us to LA, into Posh & Bec's country. Certainly some very glamourous people here. Again drove all along the coast passing though Malibu & Santa Monica, waves not big enough for any surfing. We are staying on Sunset Strip & going to do the touristy bit tomorrow & look at the houses of the stars. Who knows we may find something to our liking!!

Leaving San Francisco to follow the Pacific Highway, stopping of at Monterey first. Lovely scenery all the way down but a bit too bendy for the driver!!

Cable cars & ChinaTown Today we travelled on the iconic cable cars - just like being in the 'Streets of San Francisco' for those of you old enough to remember the TV series. Great fun & took us into the heart of the city for some culture & SHOPPING !!! Ended up in China Town.

Long drive along the coast has brought us to Santa Barbara. This is eagle country & the skies were full of these magnificent birds. Graham swears he saw a whale spouting of the coast, his eyesight is better than mine so who am I to disagree!! Again brilliant scenery but a very long drive not helped by an accident closing the freeway. Always remember to take a good map with you!!!
