Woke up and got ready for the bike wine tour. FaceTimed T as it was his birthday and spoke to the whole Claridge Clan which was lovely. After breakfast we walked to the main plaza to have a look around. We then went to the supermarket and bought ingredients to make a slow cooked steak ragu (a taste of home). Arrived in Mendoza at 10:30am after a 13 hour bus Journey. Got a taxi to the Big Chill Hostel where we were able to check in straight away. We then went for a walk around the local park, which again was huge as is everything else in Argentina. After 2 hours walking we came to a zoo so decided to go and have a look round. We got up early and strolled to the port, it reminded us of the harbour side, boats, bars and restaurants - very pretty. We then walked to the San Telmo market which was huge and went on for miles and miles (we we're walking for 4 hours and still didn't get to see all of it). Had a lazy day chilling at the hostel as it was raining. In the evening we went to a tango show. We had a 1 hour tango lesson, 3 course meal, unlimited red wine (we managed to consume 4 bottles), and it finished with the show. The dancers were amazing. We've learnt that large amounts of red wine and Jack do not mix, ill say no more....... ha!
