Carnarvon Gorge did not disappoint. When we arrived we went to the Visitor Centre where most of the walks begin. After coming up with a plan for the next day, we went down the road towards the caravan park and did a short hike to Mickeys Creek. After a disjointed break in our trip, we flew back to the Gold Coast on the 19th May to collect our home on wheels. So cheap too. Parked for two weeks in a secure lock up near the airport for a total of $120. Unheard of in Sydney! Revisited brother Ian for a night then drove around 33km to Canungra to stay three nights at the showground. We just wanted a little R&R and replan our next moves. It was a great spot for that.
