I Can't believe we are finally in Italy, it has been my dream forever to come to this place and I hope it lives up to my high expectations. We got up early and headed to the station to catch the train to the Duomo which is the centre of Milan. We were starting the day with the Cathedral, it's amazing walking up the stairs from the underground and it appearing before you. It is such a grand building. It's a shame that so many immigrants are hassling the tourists at the front that can get annoying. The Cathedral was beautiful inside and out. We went for a walk through the shopping Galleria which was a stunning building also but filled with shops we couldn't afford to shop in, Louis Vuitton etc. We stumbled across a statue in memorial to Leonardo Da Vinci that was pretty cool. Then we walked through town towards the castle, was a great museum and ancient building, had an awesome moat around it that I would have loved to have seen full of water. Inside the museum was da Vinci's last piece of work which was a bit thrilling to see. We then walked through the park towards the big arc, was a bit like the arc de triomphe but not as big.
