at first - our host families and our teacher say that we cannot speak danish, we have to speak and write english. :-)

These first two days, we have been on a guided tour in Dublin, and we have been in botanic garden. saturday evening we went out in temple bar (an area in Dublin full with bars and pups, there are a lot of men! not so many women, but really many men!!

anyway, today (sunday) we have just relaxed, we needed a quiet day, to "swallow" all the new information and impressions.
so we stayed long in bed and after that, we went to a huge shoppingcentre. over 200 shops and 4000 parking spaces. (we could walk to the centre in 20 minuts). when we got home, nina and i (naja) went out for a run and now we had just had a very good dinner and long talk with our hosts (mother: cathrin, father: john and son: Colum 16 years)

our son is playing the national game of ireland, Hurling, and he is quite good at it, but today the finale in the hurling champions leage has been played, so it was the biggest match of the year (the son was not on the team, he is not professional). So John has teached us in how to hurling and he is very proud of the irish game.
Irish are very very proud of their country, and all other irish things. but especially hurling :-)
