We head towards South Dakota on route to Mount Rushmore but as we wave goodbye to Yellowstone WY we had the ultimate pleasure of witnessing several herds of wild Bison within their local drinking hole...such a wonderful sight to be reassured these wonderful great animals are protected and growing in numbers. Close by we see a little mischievous Coyote waiting to pounce on something! But he does't stand a chance with these mammoth creatures! Lunch break at Cody, WY on route, lovely little town famous for its shooting competitions and Rodeo, and of course Buffalo Bill!! sad we are not here longer. Arrived safely in Sheridan WY for a quick dinner, dip in pool and kip then onwards tomorrow for another long but very scenic drive.
